I started reading this book in the morning and finished it the same afternoon. I couldn’t put it down.His story and testimony is so awesome, powerful ,and inspiring.
What an amazing testimony! This is a must read! Its amazing to see how relentless Gods love was in pursing Scott. After reading Scott's testimony it gave me a new understanding of addiction and how to love and to pray for the addict. Quick read but very powerful!
Great testament to never giving up on yourself, because God never gives up on you! So many times Scott quit doing drugs only to relapse again and again. As many times as he tried he failed. Although it was drugs for him, it can be anything in your life, really, that God gives you the lessons over and over until you learn. And in the end, it is all in His timing. I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with addiction of any sorts. I read this book because I met Scott playing pickleball, and he said ‘Read my book!’ after a fellow player had asked how old I thought Scott was, because his spirit seemed so young. He certainly has the spirit of Christ in him, which does keep him in a child-like, free spirit.
Fantastic read. Once I picked it up, it went fast. This great story offers courage, and the wisdom to try and keep trying, to find a way out of the prison that addiction is. Most of us know someone or a friend of someone that has struggled with addiction(s). The broken lives include family, children, and friends. This book clearly illustrates how "relentless" addiction can be for Scott, and millions of others. The key here is keep trying to escape. Don't stop trying. Scott's tale comes straight out of the "dark side" and is profoundly inspiring. The Relentless Love of God is an awesome book.
This book will appeal to anyone who has ever been associated with addiction or has friends or family who have. It is written clearly and concisely, and gives hope and encouragement to anyone who yearns to be closer to God. Scott’s journey evoked emotions from elation to heart breaking as he takes you through his life. At an age where most people retire, he is just getting started!
