Understand Your Relationships and Improve Them by Changing This One Thing Are you struggling with controlling your jealousy? Do you feel anxious and insecure in your relationships? Or, on the contrary, do you tend to push your loved ones away when they get too close to you? Don’t worry, there’s a fix for that. It’s true that this basic relationship pattern, known as your attachment type, is formed very early in life. For example, if your mother didn’t give you consistent love, you may develop a deep fear of abandonment that will translate to being jealous or clingy towards romantic partners. Your attachment type is hard to change because it’s rooted so deeply in your mind. However, it’s not written in stone. There are methods to change it, to overcome the painful legacy of the past, and to build happy, secure relationships. Say goodbye to jealousy, learn to trust your partner, and become ready to accept love! This book will teach you everything you need to know about your attachment style - and methods to change it if you want to. Here’s what you’ll learn: How your early childhood determines whether you’ll feel secure in relationships The four attachment types - and how to identify yours How your and your partner’s attachment types shape your relationship Practical tips and strategies for overcoming insecurity, jealousy, lack of intimacy, and other challenges How to cultivate secure, satisfying relationships based on trust and affection! Of course, your attachment type doesn't determine everything about your relationship, but it does play a central role. Depending on the combination of your and your partner’s attachment types, you might have different challenges to overcome before you can both feel happy and secure. You can even listen to this book together to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s childhood traumas! Change your attachment type and take your relationship to a brand new level. Attachment Theory: Building a Secure Future in Terms of Attachment in the Workplace, Friendship, Parenting and Aging by Robert Steward,Nicole Skalij, pierluigi Review

This book is a collection of different ideas about attachment, and meanders through a great many lenses on the topic. As far as I can tell, the author has no particular expertise in the area, and has only collected content from other sources.I have a lot of experience reading non-fiction and technical books. My typical go-to format, is, in fact, a textbook. I have no problem with dense content. The slightly dense format and language is not an issue for me here.Reading this book is a jarring experience. There are frequent grammatical and spelling mistakes, as if it was poorly translated from another language. There is repetitive content in almost every chapter, with bullet points at the start of a topic area being repeated verbatim at the end.I understand that it may be difficult to find a good source on this topic that isn't pop-psych, but I did not find this to be a very comprehensible or useful alternative. Nevertheless, I took what I could from the book, as there indeed were some cogent sections with specific information or suggestions with regard to different styles of attachment.

I am glad I made the right decision of buying this book.
