This book was a wonderful romantic quick read. I loved the humor, it was clean, and very well thought out. The storyline is about a girl who gets into a direct marketing makeup company and goes through all the ups and downs with that job while at the same time falling in love with someone who is very opposed to the company. It's a wonderful read, a little predictable (as most romantic stories are), but it's still great to watch it all play out. I thoroughly enjoyed this and read it in an evening. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and can't wait to read more from the author. It was very well done! Two Thumbs Up! :)
Darcy is an unemployed 24-year-old teacher living with her parents when she attends a Grace Space “celebration.†She is taken in by the idea of making $40 an hour selling MLM make-up. She signs up, buys the lilac suit, and gets to work attending “family meetings†and trying to make the big bucks. When she meets (and really likes) Luke, the son of her Grace Space “great-grandmother,†she is baffled as to why he hates the company so much and feels torn between him and the potential to make lots of money. If you have ever sold anything through direct sales, attended a home party, or been hounded by your essential oil, fancy nail, weight loss wrap selling friends on Facebook, read this book! Grace Space is a fast and very funny escape for your brain.
If you have ever been involved in a pyramid scheme (as I was involved in Amway in the early 80's) you will get a real kick out of this novella. It is SO on spot. A real knee-slapper. I found myself relating to this book, giggling, laughing, chuckling. The author is SO funny and seems to have an intimate insight to the workings of such a "business opportunity." It's an easy, quick read. The character of Gertrude was a hoot. I was happy to see Gertrude emerge in another book by the author "Shelter", also a great read.
I read this on a whim since I am currently involved in two different Direct Sales Businesses. I’m happy that I don’t see any warning signs in my business as described in this fun story. Enjoyable read and reminds me of why I do what I do and what to avoid in.business, but in a fun way. I realize this isn’t the intention of the story but still lessons or warnings are there.

It should be easy, right?, after all consultants are making $40 an hour... or are they?I love Robin Merrill's writing style. Even the secondary characters are well developed.I also really enjoyed listening to Rebecca Winder's performance.
