The Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills meet up in Week 3 of the 2021 NFL preseason at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET. The Packers broadcast map is available here, while the game will air specifically on WIVB 4 (CBS) in the Bills market. Given that this is the preseason, we’ll see plenty of unknown and lesser known faces on the rosters. To keep track of who you’re watching checking out the Packers roster and the Bills roster.
After playing their first two preseason games on the road, the Buffalo Bills will play in front of the Bills Mafia on Saturday afternoon when they host the Green Bay Packers at Highmark Stadium.
The game will be a dress rehearsal of sorts for the roster and the fan base as they get ready to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 of the regular season. Quarterback Josh Allen will make his preseason debut after finishing second in MVP voting last season. In addition to Allen, head coach Sean McDermott said the majority of the team’s starters will see playing time against Green Bay.
“Some of the starters won’t play, some will play,” McDermott said. “A majority will play. It will be anywhere from one play--and this is not a cop out I’m just trying to give you my mindset right now--one play to coming out of the locker room at half and give it a series after half there in the third quarter.”
Last year’s league MVP Aaron Rodgers will also be in attendance at Highmark Stadium on Saturday, but the veteran is not expected to play against the Bills.
In addition to playing their starters, Saturday’s game is important for a number of Bills backups who are trying to lock up roster spots ahead of Tuesday’s roster cuts. With plenty at stake for many players, Saturday’s game is a must-watch for diehard Bills fans.
Here’s how you can watch or listen to Saturday afternoon’s game.
