Informed Choices in Motherhood by Fiona Lee

Read Online and Download Informed Choices in Motherhood by Fiona Lee. In today's world motherhood isn't easy. Many mothers are left feeling overwhelmed by misinformation and conflicting advice when it comes to making important choices for themselves and their child. Informed consent is virtually non-existent in our modern society, with many parents missing out on vital information when it comes to making important decisions about the health and wellbeing of their children. This generation of children has more chronic illness than any other in history. We have skyrocketing rates of allergies, autism and many other diseases. Something is drastically wrong with the way we are raising kids. This book cuts through the myths and misinformation, to help mothers make informed choices through pregnancy, birth and childhood. It includes peer-reviewed studies and the most up to date research, as well as holistic wisdom to empower mothers and mothers to be. It looks beyond the mainstream parenting narratives and gets to the truth about what it really means to raise healthy children. Some of the topics covered include medical procedures during pregnancy, supplementation, natural birth, birth interventions, first foods, breastfeeding, SIDS, vaccinations, natural immunity and natural remedies. This book is a must-read for mothers who want to feel empowered in the decisions they make for both themselves and their child!

Informed Choices in Motherhood by Fiona Lee Review

This book is jam-packed full of information surrounding every aspect of motherhood and how the choices you make about your body affect your child. While I don't agree with all of the arguments made, and would have liked to see more opposition research cited in some places, there is a wealth of scientific data in here, aimed at allowing the reader to make their own, informed decisions. For those of us who do things by rote, this is an eye-opener on how to examine what's in your everyday products.
