Most people never think of researching the pollution and never consider that showering in the city water is in fact ingesting these toxins by inhalation and absorption, to a degree. Make an informed choice.

Thank you for the great book showing a variety of aspects that others may not cover. I have purchased and will be moving to BCS in mid 2022. In the book you mentioned a Facebook group that you are part of, can you please share that with me?
From the beginning, when the author reports Round Up as a "known carcinogen", even though the EPA has declared it is not!, this book has one unsubstantiated claim after another. If you do not want to live in Mexico buy this book.This book bad mouths almost all places Americans have chosen to retire in Mexico. He seems to believe that expats are naive and completely unaware of the environment they have chosen to live in. There may be a little truth in what he claims, but he does not provide even one credible source to back up his assertions.A complete waste of money!
I have read a number of books on moving to Mexico and this is one of the few that does not try to downplay the crime in Mexico and includes very important pollution information. The information on toxicity of Mexico's fresh and ocean waters is online for anyone to look up themselves, but people rarely do. We know not to drink the water from taps but the author has provided more information about how we're not necessarily safe showering in some places like Lake Chapala or San Miguel de Allende. People that live there are angry with the author for pointing this out for obvious reasons, but again, the info is also online. This book gives a very good synopsis on the issues, good and bad, for several popular destinations in the large country of Mexico. If you are thinking of moving there, you owe it to yourself to read this book and get all the information you can.
This wonderful and very informative book is perfectly written! If you wish to understand current modern-day México regarding its culture, history, climate, health, food, safety and other types of great important information, then this book is for you!Señor Felipe Fernandez has consolidated and compiled multiple forms of data from all around México so we can understand the good, the bad and the ugly. He explains in great detail about why certain areas of México have major health concerns. You will learn of the cities and areas that are envornmentally safe to live in as well as the areas that are very harmful to your health, for example, air and water pollution.If you are planning a vacation or looking to retire to beautiful México and have questions, this book nails it! This book has educated me with the right tools so I can make the smartest and safest descision as to where I will reside when I retire to México within the next few years. So, with that said, Señor Felipe Fernandez, thank you for your work. I now have a much better understanding of modern-day México.Again, I highly reccomend this book! I can't say it enough because if México is where you want to hang you hat, then this book is vital to your education about modern-day México. Get it! You won't regret it!
This is a good, accurate, and important book about environmental dangers in parts of Mexico. Monsanto shills don't want us to read it because Monsanto is responsible for making Mexico a more toxic and unhealthy environment. These shills are ubiquitous and obvious.
