Tell Me to Run (Tell Me Series Book 4) by Charlotte Byrd Review

What caught me in the first 2 books was the chemistry between the main characters, the lust, the flirting, the love. I didn’t feel it in this book at all. With Owen in the picture, it seemed like it was put on the back burner and it was depressing.And this author really has a thing for tagging herself in her own story, and trying to commercialize on her other stories. It’s bad taste and unflattering to read.I will continue to read the next 2 books because I’m a sucker for reading how a story concludes despite it not being great. I just hope it gets better and gets back to the same chemistry the beginning had.

You must read the other 3 Tell Me books in the series to even slightly understand where this book begins. But by the end of it, we went absolutely nowhere. I'm frustrated that authors are taking what should be one or two books and breaking them up into six in order to get to the ending. Out of the 4 Tell Me books I've read so far, this one has been the worst. I am starting to dislike some of the characters, and even the writing.Olive loves to read, and it's a wonderful attribute. (Don't we all? Otherwise I wouldn't be writing this review and you wouldn't be reading it.) But Olive drones on about her favorite author, Charlotte Byrd, and plugging other Charlotte Byrd books. Not very tasteful.The only reason I'm going to read the remaining books is because I don't like not finishing a book. And it feels like in order to finish this "book" I need to spend another $18 in other books to do so.At this point I wouldn't recommend this entire series to others to start. Because once you start, you need to invest in all six.

Book 1 and 2 oh yeah loved them. The tension the foreplay was wow. The 3rd book saw just added material that muddied things up. 4 th one didn't even waste my time to finish. I would have loved for the story to just stay the main characters but then you add the lady that warned Olive, owen, the FBI agents and on and on it was to much the hole love story them could have been really juicy if both of them would have just stopped second guessing themselves and dove on head first. Very disappointing I will nor know how it all ends I hope it was a HEA.

I couldn't wait for this book to come out and I read it to fast I should have slowed down and savored every delicious page. During the continuation of Nicholas and Olive's story I caught myself holding my breath several times it was like a train wreck you can see it coming, but you just can't look away. I love that feeling of being on the edge of your seat waiting and wondering what's going to happen next. I'm looking forward to Tell Me To Fight and here's the hard part I have to wait till January 7th.

I don't know why I bought these expensive books. I kept waiting for something. Anything to get good and exciting. You make Olive the stupidest girl . Tell me to run is the worst book yet out of them. I think you most likely lost my interest at this book. Owen is an idiot as well.
