I really enjoyed this book. I have been reading my Bible and praying since I was just a little girl; it's the way I grew up. As an adult I find my God time diminishing. I am always trying to figure out ways to get back in the Word daily and get my prayer life organized. Well author Carol Strang gives us some practical ways and backs it up with Scripture to get God into our lives each day. Even if it's only for a few minutes, something is better than nothing. I like what the author had to say about ways to cut out distractions in our busy lives, using worship as a way of connecting with God, and having a time and place to meet with Him. I look forward to more from this author.
This is great instruction in an easy to assimilate format. Offers, especially the new believer, direct answers as to how to go about building their relationship with God regardless of where that relationship is at present. A valuable tool for anyone who wants to continue to mature their Christianity and become more like Christ
This book was a quick and enjoyable read. The author used a lot of scripture to give insights on how to pursue God more closely in our busy lives.
This book is easy to understand yet very thought provoking. Much needed in today's society, where busyness is an easy trap to fall into, but a hard pit to extract from. Thank you Carol for sharing scripture and boldly calling us to account.
If you're looking to develop a closer relationship with God, this book will help you do it. Sometimes in our busy lives, we don't take the time to read scripture, so this book is a great way for you to rekindle your passion for the Holy Word, so you can apply what you learn in daily life.
