It's like the world is ending to my recollection. Thinking back on it, an anti-love club would have been great. Kassidy really does create an anti-love club for herself and others after being dumped by Justin for Sloane. Then, in the school play of Romeo and Juliet, Kassidy, Justin and Sloane all have parts, i.e. forced interaction and spending time together. I sympathize with Kassidy because who wants to see the jerk and his new girl every day? The anti-love club could be a life saver in this situation. A good support system of friends and those who know how it feels is the best way to get through something so hurtful. Kassidy learns about her own worth, without a boy, and she is a better person for it. This is a charming and sweet young adult story that is perfect for anyone to read. It's a little bit of happy in a crazy world. Pick up a copy and enjoy!
I can tell from the first few pages that it's WAY too young for me to enjoy--I like the occasional high-school romance, but these characters feel more middle-school. Like just-hit-puberty levels of drama and immaturity.Since I'm not really the intended audience, I'll leave it with the most neutral rating I can
This was a cute, quick read. If you need something that will make you smile give Kass and Justin a try.
I loved this book! The characters were dynamic and the story was adorable. The author creates characters that can be related to by different types of people and develops them as the story progresses. I highly recommend this book to any young adult looking for a good love story, a good laugh, and a good read!
This book was the best one in awhile, I feel like i can relate to the way the characters were feeling since I am younger. I feel like the book sent a good message about how we need to focus on what our faults are and fix them, before we love anyone else. It teaches about self-love and respect. I would recommend this book 100%.
