More like 3.5 or 5 stars.Excellent resource but suspect its based on draft, not final version of rev 5. Certain control families were either left out (supply chain controls) or doesn't match to what is in final version (PII controls) which make me believe this was based on the draft.Definitely recommend the rev 4 or this version if you can deal with the discrepancies. Author does a solid job adding clarification to controls and helps make a dry top more digestible.
This book makes life a bit easier. Very easy to read and clearly the author put a lot of time making it easier to digest. This is a very nice reference to keep handy.

This book makes it easier to understand and apply security controls. The illustrations and enhanced supplemental guidance are very helpful. I will be buying the revision 4 as well. I highly recommend this book for people who need to understand/implement/test information systems.
