Absolutely love this book the author delivers an amazing piece of work as all of her other books were as well.
Venus Falling, Rashelle Workman's 1st book in her new Immortal series, hooked me right from the start and never let go. I had a little trouble at first keeping up with all of the characters, their species and their subplots; but as I started reading I quickly became engrossed in the whole picture without a problem. I applaud Ms. Workman's ability to build a story based on Earth, yet heavily entrenched with alien culture and activity. As for the book in general, the storyline was well-paced, filled with intrigue, danger, twists and turns, and romance. The characters were well-developed and emotionally engaging. I can't wait for book 2 to see where this story goes!
Venus Falling was amazing. I couldn’t put it down. I read this book originally years ago when it was title exiled and loved it then but it’s been re-written to include a new characters that I read in the Snow White series and it was so fun to see how RaShelle Workman worked them into the story and how it all felt more rich and gave more life to the story than it already had. I loved it then and I love it even more now. The new surprises and twists and turns made it so fun to read. I also love how RaShelle Workman was able to weave rich emotion, and vivid and beautiful pictures into the story. It was Vibrant and as I read it felt as if I was there too. My heart was racing wondering what would happen next. My senses were filled with the wonderful worlds created by the author. I can’t wait for Venus Rising to come out. I have to say, it’s so fun to read a series you’ve read before but not now the way things will turn out with the new twists now weaved throughout the entire story! I can’t wait To see what happens in the next book. If it’s half as good as Venus Falling it will be an amazing ride of a read! And I loved the all fun names of the chapters being titles of songs. Every time I read a new chapter title the song it for it went sweeping through my mind with a blast of memories from the past.
Another great book from RaShelle Workman! This book kept me intrigued by the story of the main character Venus. This book also brought in a character from her Seven Magics Series that I already loved. The only thing that is now I have to wait on the next book of this series to find out the rest of Venus's story. I highly recommend any of Rachelle Workman's books for a great read!
I've read some of the other books with shared characters but not all. I'm more interested in reading this story line.
