While the storyline was great and interesting characters were well developed, I was annoyed by poor grammar and punctuation. Mr Rashad really needs a good editor. Nonetheless, I recommend this series as a well crafted, different version of post apoc fiction

I really liked reading this series.I stayed up way into the morning because I didn't want to stop reading. I can't wAit to read more!

All in all the series was good. However misspelled words and bad grammar did have a tendency to throw you out of the rhythm of reading the passage. Better editing is needed.

Great series.

I couldn’t make it very far. The people in this book don’t have a clue. The father has a gun and they run for their lives. First a short wall with a 7 foot drop on the other side. The man can hardly make it over. They meet bad men, he pulls his gun. Didn’t even check to see if it’s loaded. In fact it doesn’t mention that he brought the ammunition. So bad guys, idiot father. His eldest son is dragging ass while talking to a girl they just met. Really? Bad guys still following. The dad yells at him to hurry up. The kid yells back. Stealth walking. I had to stop when this moron got into the water to swim to a boat, from the shore. Where you walk in before you get all the way in. He feels like he’s been electrocuted. Forgets how to swim, forgets he can’t breath water. Everything fades to black
