Teach Your Toddler To Read Through Play: A Detailed Account with over 130 Games/Activities, Tips, and Resources by Andrea Stephenson Review

I got this book based off of a review in a news article. This book reads like a college essay thesis paper. I'm pretty sure that I could Google the entire book if I tried a little bit harder. It's worth a shot for any parent who is eager to take that step... But I reeeeaaaallllyyy think this is no different than buying flash cards, sight words and reading books daily.

This is a really well thought out book about teaching small children to read. It includes activities and uses tools that one might not associate with reading (using your hands). I really enjoyed incorporating some of these activities into my children's routines. Everyone should be able to find activities their child can enjoy.

My child was not having the typical sit down and learn to read type of lessons, so this book fit the bill. This book has creative ways to teach your child to read, and it keeps children excited to learn through playing everyday....

I am all for education and new techniques to help children learn and be their best selves! I purchased this book as a Thank You gift to a first time parent. They were beyond grateful and super excited for the thought and the opportunity for advancement for their toddler! Do yourselves a favor and invest in the children!!!!

I STARTED WITH LEAVING THE BOOKS IN THE CORNERS OF THE HOUSE AND NOW MY 1 YEAR OLD JUST GOES FOR THE BOOKS BEFORE GOING FOR THE TOYS. MUST READ AND MUST HAVE.
