In my opinion, this is a very well written and impactful book which holds your interest all the way to the end! So many people struggle with the wounds inflicted upon them early in life. They carry these wounds like baggage the rest of their lives, never really able to enjoy life or relationships. This book is an incredible story of one women's victory over childhood trauma and additional pain well into her adulthood, with no hope in sight. However, as God would have it, she would not remain hopeless and helpless to overcome her past. I believe everyone has either experienced many of the things that Allison did, or knows someone who has. Therefore, I believe this Holy Spirit inspired book will help tremendously in overcoming a wounded soul. You'll see how God in His love and mercy pulled her out of the pit of destruction when in obedience, she chose to let Him begin the healing process. Allison, thank you for sharing your story and letting others know there is hope even when it seems completely hopeless!
This book is truly amazing. I could not put it down. You will need a box of tissues while reading. This book opened up a part of my heart that I didn’t know was closed. Thank you so very much for sharing your story.
This book will take you on a journey, one that is not always pretty but that is always honest. A true prodigal story of rebellion and redemption, you won't put it down.
From the moment I started reading this book I was hooked. So much of what Allison shared of her life story spoke to me. Although our stories are different, I too had an early relationship with the Lord that Satan tried to hinder with hurtful circumstances and rebellion in my life. This book has encouraged me to reexamine areas of my life where there may have been lingering unforgiveness toward others as well as God. I felt God speaking to me of his love for me as I read through this captivating book filled with encouraging scriptures.
When I met Allison, I knew she was a strong Christian woman but I didn't really know her until I read her book. I sat on my couch on a snowy day and read it cover to cover in one sitting. It is that good. It is proof that The Holy Spirit is the answer to anything and everything we could ever experience. Buy this book and give it to your friends!
