Vietnam: The Solo Girl's Travel Guide by Alexa West Review
She has many spelling/grammatical errors which I don’t understand, but the book is laid out clear and convenient which makes it an easy read. I’ll be heading to Vietnam next month and she gave me many ideas as I have planned my trip around many of the areas she suggested. She explains the places by their energy, not necessarily how much she liked them. I’ve learned that the advice you get from others and their travels depends on the type of trip/fun THEY like to have. She is pretty straight forward which I respect. I also read her book on Thailand and took much of her advice and had a great trip.
This book was awesome. Very easy to understand and read and figure out where to go eat and visit. I actually took her advice and went to the places in the book and she was spot on. I even reached out to the driver she used and he was the sweetest nicest honest person you could ever meet. She definitely made traveling easy. I enjoyed my trip and I brought the book with me.
All your need to know and good to know information in one spot! This book helps you to know the do's and don'ts of how to dress and how to act, as well as gives you important information like packing your own toilet paper!Not only that but how to navigate your way through Vietnam like a pro! I am not all the way through this book yet but I already can't wait to start planning my next trip to Vietnam and try all the amazing food and adventures this book has highlighted!!
I love Alexa West travel guides. I’ve bought 4 now and they have helped me plan my trips with ease and safety. I’ve planned group trips with her books and she makes sure to list a range of things to do to please everyone. I always get compliments about the trips I plan but I owe it all to her travel guide. Her books are like hiring someone to plan it all for you but at a fraction of the cost!
Awesome travel book. Short and sweet with all the tips and insight you want, and none that you don’t. I’ve used these books for several trips and it’s hard to imagine visiting a new place without them!
